We depart Dublin/Belfast (arrangements can be made for those wishing to join from other UK airports). Transfer to Nof Ginosar Hotel in Tiberias or similar. This hotel sits on the edge of Galilee giving you the opportunity to enjoy time to reflect on the shores of the area where Jesus spent a large part of His ministry. Depending on flight arrival time you will have some late bites or evening meal.
Final flight details will be provided to your leader once confirmed
Tuesday 2 July 2024
This morning after breakfast, we cross the Sea of Galilee by boat, and stop in the middle of the lake for a service. Then on to visit Gennesaret to see ‘the Jesus boat.’ After which we visit the River Jordan, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha where Christ fed five thousand (Jn Ch 21). Dinner and overnight.

Full day excursion to the Golan Heights. We start at Magdella and Valley of the Doves. We end the day at Banias Caesarea Philippi. Dinner and overnight.
Thursday 4 July 2024
We drive to Megiddo passing by Mount Tabor and Nain. Then we head for Nazareth and visit Nazareth village. Returning to Tiberias via Gath Hepher the former home of Jonah, we stop at Cana of Galilee, site of the first miracle. Dinner and overnight
Friday 5 July 2024
Today we leave the shores of the Lake of Galilee and our hotel and head for Mount Carmel where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal. Following this we drive to Caesarea the headquarters of Roman power in Christ’s time. It was here that Paul appealed to King Agrippa and drew forth the amazing words ‘ Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. ( Acts 26:28 ) Then it’s on to Joppa and the village of Emmaus with the viewpoint at Radar Hill. From that we travel to the Ramat Rachel Hotel in Jerusalem. After dinner enjoy a Sound and Light show at the David Citadel Museum. If time enjoy a browse at the Mamilla Mall. Your next 5 nights will be spent at the Ramat Rachel hotel.

Today we drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls have been found. Continue to Masada and ascend and descend by cable car before going to Ein Gedi where David hid from Saul. Overnight at the Dead Sea.
Sunday 7 July 2024
This morning you will travel to Bethlehem to visit the shepherds’ fields where Ruth met Boaz and in later years the shepherds tended their sheep awaiting the birth of our Saviour.
Later we visit the Mount of Olives. We will walk down the Palm Sunday Road and visit the Garden of Gethsemane before boarding our coach in the Kidron Valley to visit the church of St Peter in Gallicantu (House of Caiaphas). Rest of the day free. Dinner and overnight
Monday 8 July 2024
Today we bypass the Menorah at the Knesset and spend time at Yad Vashem. After this we visit the Bible Lands Museum, the Temple treasures and Hezekiah’s tunnel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Tuesday 9 July 2024
On our final day we go walking in the Old City. We will enter the city via the Zion Gate and climb the Temple Mount. We witness the worshippers at the Western Wall visit the Pool of Bethesda, walk the Via Dolorosa see the Antonia Fortress, Pilates Palace, Hal of Flagellation exit the city by the Damascus Gate and visit Calvary and the Garden Tomb. What a place to finish. ‘ HE IS NOT HERE BUT IS RISEN.’ ( LK 24:6 )
